Northamptonshire Health Charity

As the registered charity for University Hospitals of Northamptonshire, (NGH & KGH) and the Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT), our mission is to make things better for patients, their families and staff. We provide funding for equipment, research, training and all of those extras that help to comfort people when in hospital.

Kelly's Heroes

Kelly’s Heroes is an independent charity whose aims are to increase awareness of mental health and suicide prevention. Founded by the family of Kelly Hewitt, whose life was lost to suicide in 2018. Kelly’s Heroes offers a range of innovative interventions to support individuals experiencing poor mental health, and suicidal thoughts. This is achieved through our range of consultancy and training for businesses and schools, so everyone at home and work feels confident to talk about mental health and suicide. Our training includes age appropriate talks for schools, so that younger people can gain the knowledge and skills to make a difference. We are passionate to ensure that everyone can learn that suicide is not the only option.

Encompass (Rushden & Higham Food Bank)

We are a local charity supporting those in the community who are facing poverty, homelessness and addiction in North Northants. We operate multiple food banks across East Northants, for those facing poverty or financial crisis. We offer food parcels for people who are experiencing immediate financial crisis. This might be because you’ve lost your job, you are off sick, you’ve had a relationship breakdown or there have been delays in your benefits. It could be something else too.

All participants in the 2024 Tractor run will be making direct food parcel contributions to the Rushden and Higham food bank as part of the tractor run event.
